Division of Student Career Services is the central division of Lovely Professional University which is an intermediate between the corporate world and the University and provides the budding students guidance for their choice of career and access to employers by generating ample opportunities for placements.

The Division looks into the following aspects:

• Acts as a bridge between the industry and the student community through meaningful interaction which is intellectually stimulating and brings awareness to the faculty and the students to prepare according to the changing demands of the industry.
• Acts as a consultancy source for projects and assignments of external world to facilitate technology transfer and support to convert research outcomes into commercially viable propositions.
• Provides a range of services to enhance students' job search and career management skills.
•  Maintains an ongoing marketing and corporate networking programme to place LPU students in business, government or private organizations and ensures a continuing pipeline of placement opportunities.

Structure of Division of Student Career Services

Division of Student Career Services consists of three departments:

• Department of Placements
• Department of Academia Industry Interface
• Department of Entrepreneurship Development

Department of Placements (DoP)
Department of Placement facilitates placements by actively reaching to the Corporate World. The Department achieves this objective by having a targeted approach towards the three major stakeholders in the placement process i.e. Students, Companies and the University.

Department of Academia Industry Interface (AII)
Department of Academia Industry Interface facilitates the process of curriculum development as per professional needs of the industry to make it more dynamic and job oriented. This is made possible by continuous interaction with industry by way of Summits, Guest Lectures, Workshops etc.

Department of Entrepreneurship Development (DED)
Department of Entrepreneurship Development is entrusted with the responsibility to inculcate and nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the students by helping them in finding out business opportunities. DED also provides a training ground to the budding entrepreneurs in order to sprout in them the seed of entrepreneurship in them and to hone their business skills by making them actively involved in various live business projects brought in, started, encouraged, incubated and partnered by the department.
